The Mercy Cage is melodic elektro-darkwave/cyber-noir from New Zealand. Formed in early 1999, debut album Wire in 2000. 2nd album, Rust: A Fiction - Stories From The Black Room released on Mediatrix in late 2001. Album number 3, the groups first north american domestic release on DSBP entitled "Scree: Transmissions" released in May 2005.
